Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police on Sunday busted a gang engaged in arranging ‘fake examinees’ and arrested five persons including two fake candidates.

According to source, Bihar’s Amit Singh and Bhubaneswar’s Ranjit Beura, who are the Marketing staff of a city-based private college, had struck a deal at Rs 5 lakh to arrange a fake examinee to appear the entrance test of Odisha University of Agricultural Technology (OUAT) for one Judhistir Mallick. They had contacted Amiya Bhushan of Bihar and Adarsh Choudhury, a resident of Sikar in Rajasthan for the purpose. They had agreed to pay Rs 3 lakh to Amiya and Adarsh.
