Worker killed in asbestos plant accident

Dhenkanal: A worker of a private asbestos manufacturing unit was killed after being trapped under a machine at Korea area here in Dhenkanal district today, a company official said.

Sanjay Dehruy (31) was critically injured when he was trapped under a machine in the factory, the plant's works manager R N Singh said.

Dehury, a resident of nearby Dholoposhi village, was taken to the district headquarters hospital which referred him to a private hospital at Cuttack where he died, Singh said.
