Rayagada: Two swept away in Nagabali river during idol immersion

Rayagada: In an unfortunate incident, two youths were swept away in Nagabali River in Kalyansinghpur area of Rayagada district. The incident occurred at the Kumbharguda ghat when a group of 20 -25 persons came to the river to immerse an idol.

During the process, two of them were swept away by the river where the current was strong.

The fire department personnel have launched a search operation and till last reports came in both the youths are still missing.

According to sources, one of the youth is said to be of 25 years old while the other is 20 years old.
