HC notice to agitating teachers

Cuttack: The Orissa High Court (HC) has ordered the agitating block grant teachers to submit a reply on their continued protest against the government.

Hearing a PIL, which mentioned that studies of nearly four lakh students in 3,775 schools have affected due to the protest, the court ordered seven associations of teachers who are on dharna for last couple of days.

Besides, the court has also asked deputy commissioner of police and school and mass education department to reply.
