Death of Odia TV serial artist shrouded in mystery

Cuttack: The death of popular Odia TV serial actor and choreographer Ranjit Patnaik alias Raja, has been shrouded in mystery.

As alleged by the family members, they received an anonymous phone call this morning in which the caller informed them that Raja has been met with an accident while he was on the way to Cuttack after attending a programme at Bhadrak. He also informed them that the Raja is being taken to the SCB Medical College and Hospital.

“Following information, we rushed to the hospital and found the found the body of Raja who was declared brought dead by the doctors. As there was no sight of the persons who had brought him to the hospital, we suspect that it was a pre-planned murder,” a family member told OTV.

After the post mortem, the family members took the body of Raja to his native place Badamba in Cuttack for cremation.

Following information, several Ollywood and TV artists rushed to the hospital to have the last glimpse of Raja.
