Keonjhar: In a daring broad daylight heist, a gang of four dacoits looted cash worth Rs 4.84 lakh from the State Bank of India (SBI)’s Naradpur branch in Keonjhar district on Tuesday.

Reports said four unidentified youths arrived at the SBI’s branch at Naradpur under Champua police station limits in two bikes.

Later, they went inside the bank and decamped with Rs 4.84 from the bank’s cash counter after terrorising the employees at gunpoint.

Following information, a team of Champua police rushed to the bank for an on-the-spot investigation.

Police later launched a manhunt by sealing the entry and exit points in the area.

However, there was no trace of the miscreants till reports last came in.
