Deogarh BDO held for graft

Deogarh: Boden police today arrested Dharanidhar Nayak, Block Development Officer (BDO) of Tileibani block in Odisha’s Deogarh district, on the charge of misappropriation of Rs 47 lakh under Madhu Babu Pension Yojana.

As per available information, a complaint was lodged against Nayak with the Boden police for misappropriation of Rs 47 lakh under Madhu Babu Pension Yojana during his tenure as BDO of Boden in 2014.

However, the police has refused to give details to the media about the arrest of the BDO.
