Cuttack: The Orissa High Court on Monday granted conditional bail to self-styled godman Santosh Raul alias Sarathi in connection with the case pertaining to alleged sexual harassment of a woman and her daughter.
While granting bail to Sarathi against a surety of Rs 2 lakh and two bailers, the court mentioned that lower court may also set additional conditions in the bail granted.
The court has also directed Sarathi to refrain from influencing witness and cooperate during the investigation.
The self-styled godman was arrested by the Crime Branch(CB) from his ashram in Barimula on the outskirts of Kendrapara town in 2015 basing on three cases registered against him. Earlier, he was granted bail in connection with one of the three cases filed against him.
