Jharsuguda: State-run Orissa Power Generation Corporation (OPGC) has halted the operations of its only functional unit-1 power plant based in Jharsuguda yesterday for next 10 days.
Prior to this, on November 24, the electricity producer had stopped the production from its Unit-2 plant for next three months for annual maintenance.
The production of the power plant from its two-units has come down to zero. The plant has two units of production capacity of 210 mega watt each.
