One missing, another rescued as boat capsizes in Kolab Reservoir

Koraput: One person went missing while another person was rescued after a boat in which they were travelling capsized near a ghat of Kolab Reservoir at Durla village in Koraput district today.

The missing person has been identified Guru Andala of Chitapari village under Korkunda tehsil in Malkangiri district while the rescued person has been identified as Gopi Andala of Durla village.

As per reports, Guru had come to Gopi's house in Durla village and the duo was returning to Malkangiri in the boat when the mishap took place. Although locals present near the ghat rushed to the spot and managed to rescue Gopi, Guru went missing in the waters.

Later, fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot after getting information and launched a rescue operation. Further details awaited.
