Odisha Tribal Girl Sold In Delhi For 1 Lakh, 6 Including 4 Women Arrested

Nabarangpur: Police have arrested as many as six persons from various parts of the district on charges of selling off a tribal girl in Delhi for Rs 1 lakh.

Reports said, 4 women and 2 men have been arrested after raids at several places in Nabarangpur.

As per sources, the accused had taken the girl to Delhi on pretext of providing jobs but later they allegedly married and sold her off for Rs 1 lakh.

Shockingly, her family members came across her when the accused brought the girl to their village, Sunabeda, for a courtesy visit.
