Odisha: Security Forces, Maoists Exchange Fire In Baibali Forest

Phulbani: An exchange of fire occurred between security forces and Maoists during a combing operation in Baibali forest on Monday.

As per reports, the gunfight continued for half an hour. Around 20-25 Maoists were reportedly present in the forest but they managed to fled after the firing.

Meanwhile, the security forces have seized a gun, a bullet and a battery, informed Kandhamal SP Vinit Agrawal.
