Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded 1215 fresh coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total positive tally to 28107, informed State health department.

Of the fresh cases, 753 have been detected from various quarantine centres while 462 are local contact cases.

Ganjam district has reported the highest 332 cases followed by Khurda with 312 positives. While Gajapati reported 89 cases, Kenojhar, Koraput and Cuttack registered 77, 73 and 60 cases respectively.

The number of active cases in Odisha reached 10,545 on Tuesday after the State reported fresh 1,215 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

With 581 recoveries yesterday, the total recoveries in the State stand at 17,373. Odisha conducted 9,113 tests in the last 24 hours.
