Bhubaneswar: Odisha continues to witness a steep rise in the coronavirus curve with the detection of 1,384 new cases in the last 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 tally in the State reached 37,681 on Tuesday.
Of the new cases, 889 were detected in quarantine centres, while 495 cases are local contacts.
According to the information provided by the Information and Public Relations department, maximum new cases were reported from Ganjam district (288), followed by Khurda (201), Cuttack (121) and Sambalpur (82).
