Odisha MLA Locked Up At His Office, Car Set Ablaze 

Talcher: Some miscreants targeted ruling-party MLA Braja Kishore Pradhan by setting his car parked at his camp office in Nandira village under Bikrampur Police limits in Talcher late on Saturday night. The Talcher MLA was reportedly present inside the camp office when the incident occurred. Apart from MLA’s car, another ambulance parked near the spot was also torched.

According to reports, the miscreants barged into the camp office of the MLA and later set afire his car parked inside the garage at around 2 AM. It is suspected that incident could be the fallout of some political or business rivalry.

Following the incident, some staff rescued the MLA from the camp office as the miscreants had locked the main gate from outside.

Meanwhile, Bikrampur police have started an investigation into the incident.

Earlier in August, some unidentified miscreants had set some vehicles parked on the premises of the ruling party lawmaker at MLA colony in Bhubaneswar. Two cars, two bikes and a bicycle parked in official quarter of the Talcher MLA were gutted in the incident.
