Cuttack: Not only youngsters, but people of all age are now getting addicted to TikTok, a video-sharing social networking service. This time a Tik Tok video purportedly of a school teacher dancing during school hours has gone viral raising several eyebrows.
In the TikTok video, the teacher Banapriya Nayak can be seen dancing in front of her students. Nayak is a teacher of Badabhuin UP school under Badamba block of Cuttack district.
When contacted, Nayak clarified that the video was shot one year back and as she is the sister of the block samiti chairman, it was an attempt to malign her.
“I have not committed any mistake. The video was shot one year back and I was also training students for the Surabhi programme,” clarified Nayak.
It is not for the first time that TikTok videos of government staff have gone viral. Earlier last year, TikTok video of a group of nurses dancing inside the emergency Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) of a hospital in Malkangiri had gone viral.
