Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cabinet is meeting today at State Secretariat here.

Sources said the meeting is likely to discuss 14 proposals including Odisha Land Grabbing Prohibition Bill. Though an ordinance was passed in the State Cabinet earlier, today’s meeting is likely to discuss the bill again as it was not tabled in the Odisha Assembly.

Proposals on amendment of Odisha Administrative Tribunal Act, Odisha Workcharge Employees Rule Amendment, Land Premium Revision Proposal, Enactment of New Law Relating to Police Force, 121th Constitution Amendment, VAT Law Amendment, District Planning Committee Act Amendment, Odisha Civil Supply Amendment. Multi-purpose Health worker law, Horticulture Rule and Civil Service Amendment Rule are likely to be moved by different departments during the meeting.

Besides, appointment of new Advocate General will be approved by the State Cabinet in the meeting.
