Odisha: Army Officer Arrested Over Dowry Torture

Bhubaneswar: An army officer was arrested by Mahila Police here in Bhubaneswar for allegedly harassing his wife for dowry.

Major Soumya Pati, who is reportedly posted in Faridabad of Haryana, was arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by his wife.

In her complaint to the Mahila Police, Pati's wife alleged that she was subjected to torture over dowry and also levelled murder attempt charges.
