Thiruvananthapuram: South-west monsoon has been weak over Kerala. Rain occurred at most places in Lakshadweep and a few places in kerala.

According to meteorology sources here, Amini,Kavarathi,Arayankavu,Kudilu,Hosdrug,Mannarcad and Perumadu reported a rainfall of 1 cm.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 24, rain or thunder showers will occur at many places in Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Fishermen warning: Strong onshore winds from north-westernly direction speed occasionally reaching 45-55 KMPH is likely along off Kerala coast and over Lakshadweep area during next 24 hours, outlook no significant for two days no change.
