Mysterious Death Of PA: Case Registered Against Malkangiri Collector
Malangiri: In a major development, a police case has been registered against Manish Agarwal, the district collector of Malkangiri in connection with the mysterious death of his personal assistant Debnarayan Panda in 2019.
According to sources, Banaja Panda, wife of the deceased Debnarayan, has lodged an FIR against Agarwal and three others at the district Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court in connection with the case.
The hearing into the matter will be held on November 11, sources added.
Notably on Dec 27 last year, Debnarayan went missing and the next day his body was recovered from Satiguda dam. His motorcycle and helmet were found lying near the dam.
Recently, Southern range DIG had visited Malkangiri to investigate into the matter.
