Mumbai ATS Arrests Man From Odisha In Narcotics Case

Koraput: The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Mumbai (Nagpur branch) has picked up a person from Jeypore of Koraput district in connection with a narcotics case.

A team of the ATS led by Sub-Inspector Ashish Thakur with assistance from local Sadar Police conducted a raid at Kalaguda village on Saturday night.

During the raid, the team arrested one Khagapati Pangi (45) for his alleged complicity in a narcotics case.

As per sources, Pangi was arrested under section 20/22 NDPS Act. It is alleged that Pangi used to supply Ganja (Dry Cannabis) to Nagpur in huge quantities.

The accused has been taken to Nagpur for further investigation in the case.
