More than 15 passengers injured as bus turns turtle

Dhenkanal: More than 15 persons were injured after a bus carrying domestic tourists met with an accident near Khairamunda Chhak under Parjang police limits in the district in the wee hours today.

As per reports, there were nearly 45 tourists in the bus going towards Angul after picnicking in Balasore. However, the mishap occurred when the driver lost control and the bus turned turtle.

Sources said the injured were rushed to the Mandapal hospital in Talcher and Angul district headquarters hospital and their condition is stated to be stable.

Meanwhile Parjang police reached the spot and initiated an investigation into the incident.
