Bhubaneswar: In the wake of the beginning of monsoon session of Odisha Assembly on Tuesday, Opposition Congress and BJP are most likely to make the session stormy with Polavaram, acute scarcity of fertilizers and coal block issues.

While Congress is expected to raise the coal block allocation scam and Polavaram project issues in the House, the party has targeted the Naveen Patnaik led BJD government over the CM’s recommendation to allocate coal blocks to private firms without floating competitive bidding, party sources said. This apart, disrupted law and order situation in the state, irregular supply of seeds and fertilizers to farmers and Anganwadi wall collapse in Nayagarh are likely to be raised in the House.

Similarly, second opposition party in the House, BJP has chalked out its strategy to put the Government in duck making ash pond breach, Polavaram, hike in power tariff  and coal block scam issues as the key matter of discussion.

On Monday BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik said that the party was ready to face all legislative questions by the Opposition.
