Lady Cop Injured After Miscreant Hurls Stone At Her In Odisha

Jajpur: It seems police itself in Odisha is not immune to the misadventures of miscreants. In one such incident, a lady traffic police officer was allegedly hit with a boulder while discharging her duties in Jajpur.

As per reports, Inspector Bijayini Malla from Chandikhol Traffic Police Station was attacked by a miscreant while she was checking vehicles at Mansamara square under Chandikhol Traffic Police limits.

Following the attack, the lady cop was left with a serious head injury. Later, she was admitted to hospital where she is currently undergoing treatment.

After filing an FIR, Barchana police has launched an investigation into the case.
