Met issues thunderstorm, rainfall alert for 5 Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: While most parts of Odisha continue to boil under intense heat wave, the meteorological department has issued thunderstorm and rainfall warning for as many as 5 districts of the State.

The Regional Meteorological Centre here has informed that, “Moderate thunderstorm/lightning and light rainfall likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Keonjhar, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Kandhamal and Gajapati between 3.30 PM and 6.30 PM today.

People living in these areas have been advised to stay alert during the thunderstorm activity.
