Meeting between cops, lawyers remains inconclusive

Cuttack: In another development in the police-lawyer spat, the meeting between police officials and representatives of High Court Bar Association, chaired by DGP RP Sharma, remained inconclusive today.

According to DGP Sharma, both the sides presented their argument in a cordial environment.

“Both the sides are trying to reach a mutually acceptable, respectful and amicable solution to the issue. I personally appeal the lawyers to end their cease-work stir in the larger interest of the people,” DGP Sharma said.
