Bhubaneswar: The fate of about 4.85 lakh students will be sealed as the process of evaluation of Orissa matriculation examination begins from Monday.

Over 22 thousand teachers have been assigned to do invigilation work in as many as 70 centres of 30 districts in the state.

According to sources, special mechanism has been in place to check computer-related mistakes and other mistakes, while evaluating the papers. A special committee has been constituted to cross-check the mistakes of the computer firm, which is in charge of the evaluation.   "The committee comprises of Board President, Secretary, Exam Controller and others," sources said.

While the evaluation will continue till April 30, the results of the exam will be published by the end of June this year.
