Balasore: A man was critically injured in an attack by his in-laws over suspected family feud at Kalakad village under Nilagiri block. The victim has been identified as Muktikanta Sa.
As per reports, Muktikanta was at his home in Kalakad when his brother-in-law, mother-in-law and father-in-law allegedly barged into his house and attacked him. Surprisingly, Muktikanta’s wife also supported her family members in the attack.
Muktikanta reportedly received critical head injuries in the attack. He was rushed to the Nilagiri hospital by some locals. However, he was later shifted to Balasore hospital after his condition deteriorated.
Muktikanta’s family members have reportedly filed a police complaint against the four accused. “Basing on the complaint, we have detained all the accused for interrogation,” informed a police official.
