Bhubaneswar: A fresh team of the newly appointed state BJP President KV Singhdeo will be formed by the end of April. This was decided in a high level meeting, first after Singhdeo took the state charge, which was attended by party national leader and Odisha BJP in-charge Santosh Gangwar at the party office here on Sunday.

"We discussed on how to strengthen the party. We gave a positive message to people that we would include all activists in building the organisational structure and hand over repsonsibilty to each one of them," Singhdeo said.
It was too decided that president selection process of the remaining 15 organisational districts will be completed by April 15 while the process for Pradesh level chiefs and district heads will be finished by April 30.
The meeting delved into several issues to strengthen the organizations within party for the ensuing municipality election, sources said.
The saffron party general secretary Dharmendra Pradhan, former party president Jual Oram, senior leader Biswabhusan Harichandan, Suresh Pujari, Bimbadhar Kuanr, Manamohan Samal and Bijay Mohapatra participated in the meeting.
A meeting comprising all MLAs is scheduled to be held in the afternoon to elect the party’s new legislature party leader.
