Justice Sanju Panda Appointed Acting Chief Justice of Orissa High Court

Bhubaneswar: The Centre has notified appointment of Sanju Panda as the acting Chief Justice of Orissa High Court. Justice Panda, who is the senior most judge of Orissa High Court, will succeed Justice Kalpesh Satyendra Jhaveri who retired today.

As per a notification issued by Ministry of Law and Justice, President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday appointed Panda to perform duties of the office of Chief Justice of Orissa High Court with effect from January 5, 2020, consequent upon the retirement of KS Jhaveri, Chief Justice Of Orissa High Court.
