Two persons killed after Hyva truck rams into shop

Kendrapara: Two persons were killed after a Hyva truck rammed into a shop near Karasinga Chhak under Marshaghai police limits in Kendrapara district this morning.  The deceased include the truck driver and shopkeeper Balakrushna Jena who was sleeping inside the shop.

As per reports, driver of the speeding Hyva truck lost control of the vehicle and hit a roadside shop alongwith a passenger waiting room next to it. Jena who was sleeping inside the shop died on spot. The grievously injured truck driver was rushed to the Marshaghai Community Health Centre where doctors declared him dead.

Police reached the spot and have started probe. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
