Hudhud effect: ECoR cancels more trains

Bhubaneswar: Incessant rains under the influence of cyclone Hudhud affected the train, bus and air services.

The East Coast Railway cancelled 21 trains while the routes of other 27 were diverted. Similarly, some running trains were stranded on the track before their destinations.

Mostly, train service between Bhubaneswar and Vishakhapatnam was disrupted.

On the other hand, bus service was also affected due to the cyclone. Many buses connecting to the southern districts from Cuttack and Bhubaneswar stopped operation.

Some flights including Bhubaneswar-Port Blair Air India stopped flying due to the storm.
