Bhubaneswsar: Giving tense moments to both Centre and the state government, an audio tape released today morning by Maoist leader Aruna said that the next Praja Court (People`s Court ) on April 25 would decide the fate of the abducted Laximur MLA Jhina Hikaka.

The tape said that their organisation is dissatisfied with the decision and dilly dallying attitude of the government which are prompting them to call for a bandh on April 21 and 22. The Praja Court, scheduled for April 25 will decide the fate of the tribal legislator, the tape added.

The audio tape claiming Jhina in safe custody of the Maoists added that Andhra Orissa Border Special Zonal Committee (AOBSZC) is observing a week long protest from April 24 against the Green Hunt operation of the state as well as the Centre.

On Thursday, in an effort to expedite the release of Jhina, the government said that of the seven bail appellants, five prisoners had been granted bail while for two the matter was under consideration. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik after returning from his Delhi tour had once again appealed the Maoists for the safe release of Jhina Hikaka.
