Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police today arrested a youth on charges of sexually harassing a girl on pretext of landing her roles in movies.
According to sources, the youth named JD Rout claiming himself to be an assistant producer, lured the girl to perform obscene photo shoots for him on pretext of providing her roles in television serials and movies.
He even claimed to have a film institute in Saheed Nagar area of Bhubaneswar.
The matter came to light after the girl lodged a complaint at Saheed Nagar Police Station alleging blackmail by the youth.
Later after investigation, a team of Commissionerate Police arrested the youth today.
