Ghost Fear: 5 Students Vacate 'Haunted Hostel' In Balasore

Balasore: Five boy students of Banchhakalpa Sanskrit Vidyapitha in Balasore district fled their hostel on Sunday morning fearing paranormal activity in the hostel premises.

The panic-stricken students left the hostel this morning without informing the authorities and reached Udala bus terminal. Some locals spotted them at the bus stop and rescued the students before handing them over to police custody.

According to sources, there were 15 students in the hostel. Out of them, five students had left the hostel yesterday night while another five vacated the hostel this morning.

"We rescued the boys from the bus stand. They left their hostel without informing the authorities. We do not know whether their guardians are aware of the incident or not," said Dillip Kumar Kalia, a local resident.

The hostel authorities and police were unavailable for comment.
