Under the 5T initiative of the Odisha government, the State Police department has launched the M-Police mobile application scheme. As per official sources, the initiative is aimed at digitally connecting the police stations directly with the Passport Seva Kendra by which the Police Verification Report (PVR) of the passport applicants can be directly accessed by the officers at the police stations.
