suicide after odisha matric results declaration
Balasore: A Class 10 student of Punduruni village under Basta block here allegedly committed suicide post declaration of the matric results by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) today.
According to sources, Sankarsan Sethi consumed poison after finding that he has failed in the matriculation examination.
Though his family members rushed him to Basta Community Health Centre (CHC), Sankarsan died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
His family members are yet to respond on this, while police have initiated an investigation into the death of the student, claimed sources.
In another heart-wrenching incident, one Biswajit Majhi who was also a Class 10 student and awaiting his results lost his life after the four-wheeler in which he was traveling along with others hit a truck at Baro Chhak on Cuttack-Chandabali road last night. Biswajit was a student of Banabihari Jew High School.
