Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday appealed to BJP workers in Odisha to work two times harder to achieve mission 'Aatma Nirbhar New Odisha’.
Pradhan while addressing BJP’s State executive meeting here today said that workers should work on a mission mode to shape PM Modi's vision Purvodaya.
"Due to the hard work and the blessings of the people, we have moved forward in every aspect. The organisation needs to get strengthen further with the mantra of Seva, Sangathan, Sampark and Sangharsh. The BJP Odisha is committed to fulfill PM Narendra Modi's vision of Purvodaya and Aatmanirbhar Bharat," Pradhan said.
Under the guidance of party president JP Nadda, each and every karyakarta of the party in State is dedicatedly working to take PM's welfare schemes to the grassroots and also highlighting the achievements of the Modi Govt in the last 6 years, Pradhan tweeted.
After rounds of brainstorming, the party has prepared a blueprint to grill the BJD-led Odisha government on many fronts including farmers' issues, mandi mismanagement, border dispute, deteriorating law and order situation and rampant corruption.
With three political draft proposals which have been passed in the executive meeting, the saffron front has decided to reach people at grassroots level.
The draft alleged massive irregularities in the PM Awas Yojana in every nook and corner of the State. Not a single work-order has been issued to a beneficiary in last one and a half year, it stated.
The party further alleged that Odisha has topped the list in crime against women and child abduction. Similarly, unemployment, corruption in MGNRGA were some others points that featured in the meeting.
"As many as 550 police stations are functioning at the behest of BJD. Political murders in Odisha continue unabated like West Bengal," BJP State vice president Bhrugu Buxipatra said.
He further alleged that the border controversy which acts as a major cause of concern for the people of State, is fallout of intelligence failure.
The party has also chalked out action plan to take on BJD in the forthcoming by-election to Pipili Assembly constituency.
