Bhubaneswar: Rain parched Odisha, which is stuck with the tag of deficient rainfall this monsoon by recording 26 per cent less rain as on Sunday, looks all set to host depression induced heavy rainfall during August 5 -8. The predictions are the whole State will receive heavy precipitation amounting to 4-7cm during the days.

As per IMD's weather inference today, a cyclonic circulation lies over northwest Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood, which extends upto 7.6km above mean sea level having a tilt of southwestwards with height, and under its influence a low pressure area is likely to form during next 2-3 days - means by July 31.
