According to sources, due to a foul smell near a mobile phone tower, some locals went near the spot and found the body of Meher lying there. Some of them who knew Meher, confirmed that the body belonged to him and contacted the police. Later, a team of police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.

Further investigation into the case is underway. The post-mortem of the body will be conducted tomorrow, the police said.
