Couple Standing On Roadside Run Over By Truck In Odisha

Rairangpur: In a shocking incident, a couple died after a gas cylinder-laden truck ran over them while they were standing on the roadside in Rairangpur Monday afternoon.

As per reports, the couple was standing near Bisoyi Chhak in the town when the truck loaded with LPG cylinders hit them. According to sources both died at the spot.

Sabitri Munda, an Anganwadi worker along with her husband Sukara Munda of Asansikod village under Bisoyi Police limits were returning to home and were talking to another woman by parking their TVS vehicle on the roadside when the mishap took place.

Reports said, Sabitri Munda died on the spot and her critically injured husband died on road to the Rairangpur hospital.

Reports said one more person was also critically injured in the mishap.
