Bhubaneswar: India's first-of-its-kind 'Fire Park' was on Tuesday inaugurated in Bhubaneswar by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, through video conferencing. Patnaik has also launched a dynamic online portal 'Agnishama Seva' of Directorate General Fire Services, Home Guards and Civil Defence (http://odishafshgscd.gov.in/), to facilitate access to various citizen services provided by the department.

Aimed at creating awareness on fire safety measures, the fire park which has been set up on the premises of Odisha Fire & Disaster Response Academy (OFDRA) in Baramunda area of the capital city, will open every Saturday for the public from 3:30 PM to 5 PM, informed DG Fire Service, Satyajit Mohanty.
