Class -IV girl student brutally thrashed by tuition teacher for arriving late

Balasore: In a shocking incident, a Class-IV girl student was brutally beaten up by her tuition teacher today in Podasul area under Nilagiri police limits of Balasore district for arriving late to the coaching class.

According to sources, the girl reached the tuition centre late following which the lady tuition teacher lost her cool and allegedly thrashed her leaving her critically injured.

The victim was rushed to Nilagiri hospital and till last reports came in, she is undergoing treatment.

The student's father filed a written complaint with the police, based on which a probe into the matter has been initiated, informed sources.

Notably, there have been several allegations in the past against the lady teacher for beating up students over trivial issues.

The accused tuition teacher's response in this regard could not be obtained.
