Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha on Saturday announced the results of plus II arts and commerce streams.

The overall pass percentage in Arts stream is 68.79 percent against 70.71 percent last year. Similarly, 74.91 percent students cleared the examination in commerce stream this year, informed School and Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra today.

Puri district recorded a highest pass percentage of 79.87 % while Nabarangpur district recorded a lowest pass percentage of 47.58 % in arts, informed Patra.

A total of 1,58,378 students have passed the exam in Plus II Arts stream. Girls have outshone boys this year with as many as 94,619 girl students clearing the annual CHSE exam as compared to 63,759 boys who have passed the examination. A total of 19,993 students have secured First Division while 26,076 students have got Second Division and 1,12,143 examinees have scored Third Division.

Out of a total of 26,984 students, who had appeared the Plus II Commerce examination this year, 20,216 have passed the exam. As many as 13,089 boy students have cleared the examination this year as compared to 7,127 girls who passed the exam. A total of 4,006 students have got First Division, 3,734 Second Division and 12,470 Third Division. Nayagarh district has registered highest pass percentage at 95.58 whereas Deogarh district has lowest pass percentage at 45.70.

Pass percentage in Commerce stream was 74.91 percentage this year whereas the figure was 71.43 percentage last year.

The results are available on the officials website of the board- www.chseodishanic.in and www.orissaresults.nic.in.

2. Click on either the link for Odisha Class 12th Arts or Commerce results 2018.
3. Enter your roll number and other required details.

The CHSE had announced the plus II science results were declared on May 19 while the overall pass percentage stood at 76.98 percent this year.

The Arts pass percentage recorded was 71.55% and Commerce pass percentage recorded was 70.39%. The Students can keep refreshing our website as we bring more updates. The results will be available on the website from 11 am onwards.

Official sources said, 3, 80,707 students including 2, 43,000 in arts, 47,000 in commerce and 95,096 in science had appeared for the examination which were held between March 6 and March 29. The practical exams were held from January 29 to February 8.
