Berhampur: Chhatrapu MLA Adikanda Sethi was today injured when he was hit by a motor-cycle at Rambha, about 45 km from here, police said. The lone CPI MLA in the Orissa assembly met with the accident while he was returning after inspecting the water level of a canal at Rambha, they said.

He was admitted to the sub-divisional hospital at Chhatrapur and later referred to a private hospital at Bhubaneswar. Doctors said Sethi suffered fracture in his right leg. The motorcycle rider absconded from the spot. The MLA also did not identify him, Inspector in-charge (Rambha) SLK Prasad said.
