Umerkote: Vehicular traffic came to a standstill here today following a rift between two bus owners’ associations.
According to reports, members of the two private bus owners’ associations had a rift over collection of union fees from the bus owners and opposing this, the association members resorted to strike paralyzing passengers’ service in the area.
The reports also stated that the police have so far arrested four persons in this matter.
While the people in the area have been facing problems due to non-availability of adequate number of buses, the decision of the bus owners’ association to continue their stir till the matter is solved, has made their plight miserable.
