Rourkela: The Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) has postponed semester examinations which were slated to be held on May 20 owing to clash of dates with NEET 2019 exams in Odisha. This has been informed by Examinations Director of BPUT, Deepak Kumar Sahoo.
According to a notification issued by Sahoo, the semester (regular and back) examinations have been postponed in view of the All-India National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 exam.
The rescheduled semester exams will now be conducted on June 13, added the notification.
The Vice-Chancellor passed an order to postpone alll examinations of May 20, 2019 in view of All India NEET examination and it is rescheduled to June 13, 2019, read the BPUT notification.
NEET 2019 exam was earlier supposed to be held on May 5, but was rescheduled to May 20 in Odisha in the wake of Cyclone Fani.
