Bomb blast in Bhanjanagar school

Bhanjanagar: Two minor students of the Upper Primary School at village Sanakodanda near here were injured in a bomb blast that took place today inside the school premises.  The injured students were identified as Krishna of class four and Hemant of class five.

Quoting Krishna, police said that the student had brought a dewali bomb from one of his relatives which he gave to Hemant. The duo then connected an electric wire to the bomb which enhanced the explosive capacity of the bomb.

The school staff along with several other students rushed to the place listening to the sound of the explosion. No other casualty was reported since the classes were yet to start.
