Bhubaneswar: Some miscreants attacked the residence of Utkal University Vice Chancellor Prasant Kumar Sahoo last night. Two miscreants came in a motor cycle and threw a bomb to the wall, said the security guard.
“It was around 11:15 PM. I was going to bed when I heard a intense sound. When I saw in the window there were smokes in the campus. My security guard told me that someone threw bomb then I immediately informed to Saheed Nagar Police Station, Security Officer and PG Council Chairman.”, said Mr. Sahoo.
Police is investigating the issue but no one has been arrested so far. Mr. Sahoo assumed that someone might have done this as the University election is going to be held. “The election will be done. This is the rights of the students. I have to give justice to every body”, Mr. Sahoo added.
