Youth thrashed by couple for stalking, blackmailing on Facebook

Pattamundai: A youth allegedly stalking a woman on Facebook and blackmailing her was thrashed in public at Pattamundai of Kendrapara district on Monday.

According to sources, the youth used to chat with a woman on Facebook. He later on went on to demand money from the woman threatening to upload morphed obscene pictures.

In a trap to apprehend the youth, the woman sought a meeting near the Sub-Registrar’s office in Pattamundai on the pretext of giving him the money. However, upon the youth’s arrival at the predetermined spot, the woman along with her husband thrashed him.

Talking to OTV, the woman said, “The youth has been threatening me since last three months with my morphed photos. He sent it to my husband and brother’s account and was threatening to upload the same on social media.”
